WeWork’s 67,000-SF Golden Triangle lease cancelled

DENVER — WeWork has lost its pending 67,000-square-foot lease in Denver’s Golden Triangle after a tumultuous several months for the startup.

BusinessDen reports Alpine Investments canned the deal to lease all the office space at 955 Bannock St. after it read the co-working company’s public offering prospectus and revealed issues with long-term revenue plans and corporate governance. The company has five other locations in Denver, with four others in the works.

WeWork scrapped its IPO after the investment world fled from the one-time tech unicorn, taking a $5 billion financing package from Japanese venture fund Softbank Group Corp. Tuesday.
