Local companies win Expo West Nexty Awards

Three Boulder County companies and three other Colorado companies won Nexty awards at Natural Products Expo West 2019.

Two Boulder companies and one company in Longmont were winners, as well as two Denver companies and a company based in Parker. In total there were 23 winners of the award, sponsored by New Hope.

The Nexty Awards recognize the most progressive and innovative products in the natural products industry. It’s open to exhibitors at Expo West, which took place from March 5-9 in Anaheim, Calif.

The local winners were:

• Best New Ready-to-Drink Beverage: Hoplark Sparking Hop Tea (Boulder)
• Best New Condiment: Picaflor Live Culture Raw Fermented Pepper Flakes (Boulder)
• Best New Frozen Product: Teton Waters Ranch Burger Blends (Denver)
• Best New Meat, Dairy or Animal-Based Product: Annabella Low Moisture Fresh Water Buffalo Mozzarella (Longmont)
• Best New Hemp/CBD Product: RE Botanicals Hemp CBD Tinctures (Denver)
• Consumer Choice Supplement: Colorado Hemp Honey Honey Sticks (Parker)
