Noodles posts decrease in revenue following store closures
BROOMFIELD — Noodles & Co., (Nasdaq: NDLS) a fast-casual restaurant chain based in Broomfield, reported a 5.3 percent decrease in revenue as it closed 55 restaurants during its first quarter that ended April 3.
Revenue for the quarter was $110.5 million, down from $116.7 million for the first quarter of 2017.
The company reported a loss of $3.6 million for the quarter, or 9 cents per share, compared with a loss of $26.8 million in the same quarter a year ago.
