Twitter cutting a few jobs in Boulder
A handful of workers at Twitter in Boulder will lose their jobs as part of the company’s 9 percent reduction in its workforce announced Thursday.
The Daily Camera reports that workers at Twitter’s office at 1301 Walnut St. speaking on condition of anonymity to protect their jobs, said they believed about five positions were eliminated, this despite a previous announcement that an expansion was planned.
Officials from the company did not respond to requests for comment, so it remains unclear if the planned expansion will still happen. As of February, there were about 100 employees in Boulder.
