Weld County commissioners expected to adopt new solar regs today

New rules regulating large solar installations on rural land in Weld County are expected to be adopted today.

The Greeley Tribune reports that the Weld County commissioners will vote on final approval of the regulations, bringing to and end a long process that started with the commissioners weighing last fall whether to prohibit all future solar development from land zoned for agricultural use. The new regulations will take a much more measured approach.
