RTD outlines new U.S. 36 route structure

With slightly more than three weeks remaining before the rollout of revamped bus service between Boulder and Denver, the Regional Transportation District has launched a campaign to familiarize riders with the new route designations.

The new bus rapid transit service, dubbed the Flatiron Flyer, will begin service on Jan. 3. Six Flatiron Flyer routes will service stations along the U.S. Highway 36 corridor. The routes are designed to replace and improve several of the current “B” routes servicing the corridor that for years have been familiar to commuters.
