CSU holds groundbreaking ceremony for new football stadium

Colorado State University held a groundbreaking ceremony on Saturday for its new $220 million, 36,000-seat on-campus football stadium that is slated to open for the 2017 season.

The Coloradoan reports that about 400 people attended the ceremony at the site where crews have already been readying the site. The paper notes that major construction is slated to start next month.
