Danish wind-turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems A/S (OMX: VWS) plans to add 350 manufacturing jobs at its Windsor and Brighton factories, and workforce recruiter Manpower will run job fairs this month to fill the positions.
The job fairs will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at Vestas’ Brighton plant, 1500 E. Crown Prince Blvd., and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at its Windsor plant, 11140 Eastman Park Drive.
As your business grows and matures, it is almost inevitable you will ask yourself whether to buy or lease space from which to operate. Here are a few key considerations when making this decision.
According to a media release from Manpower, starting pay for the jobs will be $16.96 per hour plus shift differential, and benefits include health care, retirement plans with a company match, and paid time off. Immediate start dates are available for qualified candidates, who will work directly for Vestas.
“In the current market, qualified job seekers have their pick of employment opportunities,” said Frank Armendariz, regional vice president for Manpower, in the media release. “These job fairs are an opportunity for us to show job seekers a great career opportunity with one of the state’s premier employers. We are excited to continue to place hundreds of great candidates to work at Vestas.”
Questions about the jobs are being fielded by the Manpower offices in Denver and Fort Collins, at 720-479-7400 and 970-226-0113, respectively.
