Carrizo sees revenue, earnings slide in 1Q; Weld County production grows

GREELEY — Carrizo Oil & Gas Inc., which drills in Weld County, reported first-quarter revenue of $149.1 million on Wednesday, down 0.9 percent compared with the same quarter last year.

Houston-based Carrizo (Nasdaq: CRZO) reported a first-quarter loss from continuing operations of $21.5 million, or 46 cents per basic and diluted share, compared with a loss of $6.6 million, or 15 and 14 cents per basic and diluted share, respectively, for the same period last year.
