Boulder-based Namaste expands nationwide, opens New York office
BOULDER — Namaste Solar, an employee-owned cooperative based in Boulder that builds and operates solar-electric systems, has opened a branch office in White Plains, N.Y., to work on commercial solar projects.
Namaste has offices in Boulder and Denver, and this is the 10-year-old company’s first office outside of Colorado.
“White Plains was our first choice as a location, as it offers an excellent base to help us better serve our customers in the Northeast,” Namaste Solar’s chief executive, Blake Jones, said in a prepared statement.

Namaste Solar’s office in White Plains is at 50 Main St., Suite 1000, and is dedicated solely to commercial projects.
Some of Namaste Solar’s major solar projects in Colorado have included work for the Denver Housing Authority, New Belgium Brewing Co., Colorado Convention Center, Denver Museum of Nature & Science, Boulder Community Health, Environmental Protection Agency and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
