CSU, CU survey to measure oil and gas production effects
Researchers from Colorado State University and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus are sending out surveys to 1,400 households in Greeley and Fort Collins to measure how oil and gas production affects their everyday lives.
The Denver Business Journal reports that the two-year study will cost $275,000, and will be funded by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. The survey is aimed at measuring quality-of-life changes and whether those are positive or negative.
The randomly selected households are expected to see the surveys arrive in the mail this week.
