Flatirons Habitat moving Restore in Broomfield

BROOMFIELD — Flatirons Habitat for Humanity plans to relocate its ReStore in Broomfield later this year.

Flatirons Habitat has leased 14,872 square feet of industrial space at 1 Park St. in Broomfield where it will set up its Restore, which currently occupies 14,000 square feet of space at 6900 W.117th Ave., Suite 400.

Casey Payne, Flatirons Habitat’s communication director, said the move, likely to occur in the late fall, is to gain more visibility for the nonprofit’s retail operations.

The Restore sells new and used furniture, home accessories, building materials and appliances to the public at discounted prices. Proceeds of the sales goes to the programs of Flatirons Habitat, an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity, a global, nonprofit housing organization.

Habitat for Humanity strives to eliminate substandard housing worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.

Gary Garcia of Pinnacle Real Estate Advisors represented Flatirons Habitat for Humanity, and Chris Ball and Brandon Ray of Cassidy Turley represented the landlord, Evan Charles Properties.
