Schedule set for New Belgium’s Tour de Fat bike rides
Tour de Fat, in its 15th year, is a festival that celebrates the bicycle while showcasing New Belgium beers and providing entertainment.
The event, where costumes are encouraged, is free and all proceeds from food and beer go to local biking groups.

Ten cities will hold rides this year. Last year, Tour de Fat was staged in 12 cities and attracted a total of 97,500 beer and bike enthusiasts and 57,359 bike parade participants.
Denver will also host a ride, on Sept. 6 in City Park.
Over its course, Tour de Fat has raised more than $3 million for nonprofit organizations.
