Apartment complex sells for $28.2 million

BROOMFIELD – The apartment-buying spree in the U.S. Highway 36 corridor continued at the end of 2012, with the 10-building Willow Run Village complex in Broomfield selling for $28.2 million, according to property records.

The complex, near the intersection of East Midway Boulevard and North Zuni Street, was bought by GB Willow Run LLC, according to property records. Records show the limited liability company was created by Griffis/Blessing Inc., a Colorado Springs-based real estate investment and management company.

Baynorth Willow Run Apts LLC, Baron Baynorth Holdings I LLC, and Baron Baynorth Manager LLC sold the property, according property records.

Baron Properties, a Greenwood Village-based company, managed the property.

The buyer and seller could not be reached for comment Tuesday.
