Commercial Solar is a big investment, but not an overwhelming one

Solar offers a significant economic benefit for commercial property owners while also positively impacting the environment and offering a path to compliance for new municipal requirements like Energize Denver. A local, experienced solar installer will help you navigate the complexities of commercial solar to achieve financial success for your project.

At the fair, businesspeople can learn how to work effectively with federal labs, apply for small-business research grants and obtain licensing agreements. Organizations will have booths that feature their work, and businesspeople and government officials will give presentations on successful collaborations between the public and private sectors.

A similar event has been held in Boulder area annually, but the Northern Colorado event is the first of its kind to take place in Larimer County, agriculture department spokeswoman Gail Keirn said.

“We really wanted to highlight Larimer County,” she said.

The fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 7 at the Drake Centre in Fort Collins. To learn more or register for the event, attendees can visit www.aphis.usda.gov/2012TechTransferFair.

Colorado State University, the city of Fort Collins, Colorado BioScience Association, CSU Ventures, the Northern Colorado Business Report and the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce are among the event’s sponsors.
