Construction jobs up in March

Construction jobs were up 5 percent statewide in March compared with March 2011, according to the Associated General Contractors of America.

This statistic includes jobs in construction, mining and logging. The number of construction jobs in Colorado increased from 131,600 to 137,600 year-over-year in March.

In the Fort Collins and Loveland area, the number of construction jobs increased by 1 percent from March 2011, from 6,800 to 6,900.

In Greeley, construction jobs increased by 3 percent from 10,100 to 10,400 year-over-year in March.
