As a result, an increased number of homes in the $1.5 million range are going on the market, she added.

In Boulder County, 97 homes in this price range are active on the market, according to Shara Eastern, broker/owner, The Eastern Team, Metro Brokers.

In 2010 and 2011 100 homes in the $1 million-plus range sold in Boulder County, with 100 active. From March 2011 to March 2012, Eastern said, 73 have sold with 97 active.
