Boettcher Foundation matching contributions to Aims

GREELEY – Aims Community College could earn $100,000 in a grant match from the Boettcher Foundation.

Aims will receive a dollar-to-dollar match, up to $100,000, on donations made to its capital fund from now through June 30.

“The past 18 months have been challenging, yet our community continues to show appreciation for the value of an affordable education at Aims,´ said Aims Foundation Director Julie Buderus, in a prepared statement. “This ‘Aims Stimulus Package’ provides donors with an increased value of their investment. The timing has never been better to stretch those donation dollars.”

Donations to the capital fund are being used on four major projects for the college, including the Allied Health & Sciences and Aviation buildings, the remodel of Ed Beaty Hall and the College Center, and the new Automotive and Technology Center. Because of the matching funds from the Boettcher Foundation, donors who choose to name a room can now do so for half-price.
