  1. Make a list and check it twice. Write down your goals and refer to them often.
  2. Reward yourself as you accomplish important and difficult tasks.
  3. Break big jobs down into manageable bite-sized pieces. How does one eat an elephant? One bite at a time.
  4. Create a timeline and have integrity by sticking to the plan.
  5. Tell others about your goals. This way, you will do what you set out to do or you risk losing face.

  8. Change your environment to eliminate distractions and to inspire creativity. Sometimes I find that I am more efficient and inspired when I write at a local coffee shop. I need a break from the home office.
  9. Re-clarify your goals as needed. Maybe you have outgrown this particular interest and that is why you lack the steam to get ‘er done.
  10. Surround yourself with people who inspire you to take action in your life.
  11. Imagine a beautiful end result and just do it.
