Who Are You?

I am totally over canned elevator speeches but I do want to know something about you. I really do. Tell me THE most vital lesson you have learned in life. Or, explain the single most important thing I need to know about you. Imagine that interviews were only one question long and you had to get it right. What would you say? Boil it down into the most potent description of your inner essence.

I realize that none of us can be fully explained in one measly sentence. But, I also know that a passionate, succinct explanation about what matters most to you will surely leave a better impression than some tired old 30-second commercial that starts with a hook and ends with a call to action. Please! Can we stop trying to train job searchers to be robots devoid of all that is naturally beautiful about them…namely their humanity? Can we?

So, I ask you. What is the MOST brilliant thing about you? You do realize that you are brilliant, right? I hope so.
