December was lean, January packs it on

Where the number of holiday parties in 2010 was slim, January 2011 could use some treadmill time alongside all the New Year’s resolutionists at the gym.

It’s astonishing how many events are taking place this month alone.

Smartphones in Northern Colorado nearly choked to death Jan. 6 on the three different events – all about economic theory – happening that day.

Then there was Gov. Hickenlooper‘s inauguration Jan. 11. The post-inauguration bash included 20 different Colorado beers. The former brewery owner’s concept of regionalism proved popular along all partisan lines that day.
