Studio E, Greenfield Design merge into EDGE Architects

BOULDER – Faced with the prospect of stiff competition for a key architecture job here, Rick Epstein called up former colleague Laura Greenfield, owner of Greenfield Design Studio.

The duo teamed up and subsequently won the bid to redesign the 5,500-square-foot Quaker Meeting House.

That first joint project was four years ago. Since then, Greenfield and Epstein have collaborated on so many projects that they now will merge their firms, Studio E Architecture and Greenfield Design Studio, to “catch the second wave” of growth in Colorado. The new company will be EDGE Architects PC.
