Windsor DDA to receive funding

WINDSOR – The Windsor Downtown Development Authority will receive funds through tax increment financing and a mill levy, thanks to two resolutions passed by voters earlier this month.

The Windsor DDA was created in January 2011, and spent its first year developing plans for how to improve the area within its boundaries. Any action, however, was dependent on a municipal election that determined whether or not the entity could gain access to funding.
