Techstars unveils new Boulder startup class for 2017
BOULDER — Techstars on Tuesday unveiled its 11th class of startups for the Boulder accelerator, a group of 13 companies that includes five from Boulder.
Airstream Health, Blank Slate Systems, IronCore Labs, Sitter and Stateless are the five local companies that will go through the accelerator, a three-month program that culiminates with a demo day during Boulder Startup Week, May 15-19, 2017.
Boulder-based Techstars runs 26 accelerator programs in cities around the world. Boulder was the first to host a Techstars class, in 2007. The Boulder program has so far graduated 110 companies. Participating startups receive $20,000 in seed money and several weeks of intensive mentorship and training to help boost their businesses in exchange for a 6 percent equity stake. The company also offers all participants a $100,000 convertible note as well.
