NCEDC hires firm to fill leadership position

LOVELAND — The Northern Colorado Economic Development Corp. has hired Organization Dynamics LLC to provide the group with interim chief executive services.

The Loveland-based organization is looking for a permanent CEO to replace Walt Elish, who resigned in September after three years on the job.

Doug Marsh, based in Branford, Conn., and a principal with Organization Dynamics, will serve as interim CEO and engage a team of associates to search for a permanent chief executive and help run the corporation for five to seven months, according to a letter sent Monday from board chairman Paul Mueller to the organization’s investors and stakeholders.

As Mental Health Awareness Month unfolds in Colorado, it serves as a reminder of the collective responsibility to prioritize mental well-being.

Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Mueller said in the letter that the organization has built “deep relationships” with site selectors nationally and its 120 local investors. “Our finances have rarely been stronger in our entire 14-year history,” he wrote.

Mueller told investors and stakeholders that the economic-development organization has engaged Denver-based public relations firm Dovetail Solutions to work with Organization Dynamics on NCEDC’s messaging, branding and relationship development. He said the two organizations will address local business expansion and retention as well as market the region for business attraction, particularly for primary employers.

Organization Dynamics was founded in 1986 and has worked with more than 300 organizations in 28 states and six developing countries.
