Scott Bryan, owner of Bryan Construction, will serve as chief executive. Terry Drahota, who founded his construction firm in 1973, will serve as president of the operations in Fort Collins.

The combined operations will include more than 120 employees among the four offices.

Bryan Construction, in business for 36 years, specializes in new construction, addition/alteration, build-to-suit, civil infrastructure and tenant finish projects for both public and private projects in the U.S. and abroad. Through the merger, Bryan will be able to draw on Drahota’s expertise in medical facilities, office buildings, banks, apartments and condominiums, retail spaces, resorts and restaurants.

“This strategic alliance will allow us to synergize our capabilities and bring more services to a wider market,” said Scott Bryan, in a prepared statement. The new group will target projects in Colorado and Wyoming.

“Drahota’s expertise, resources and track record of high-quality projects throughout the Denver and mountain regions, and Wyoming — particularly in the multifamily and resort areas—will create a formidable entity with broad reach, big capabilities and high standards,” he said.

Terry Drahota said the merger is expected to “achieve growth together that we couldn’t have achieved individually. Bryan Construction’s mix of expertise, relationships and history of quality are a great fit for Drahota.”
