CSU begins archiving materials related to legalization of pot

FORT COLLINS — Colorado State University officials announced Thursday that the school’s library archive has begun collecting materials related to the passage of Amendment 64 and the legalization of marijuana use in the state.

The new collection will focus on gathering text-based materials, photographs, ephemera, film and audio interviews documenting all aspects of the passage of the legislation, CSU Libraries associate professor and coordinator for Archives and Special Collections Janet Bishop said in a release from the school.

The collection will also document agricultural and scholarly research related to marijuana and hemp.
