CDOT to enforce parking limit at Harmony Transfer Center
FORT COLLINS — Although the Harmony Transfer Center at Harmony Road and Interstate 25 always has been intended to be a day-use area, that has never been enforced.
Starting Monday, June 1, it will be.
In order to accommodate all the services now using the transfer point in southeast Fort Collins effectively – including car and van pooling, the Transfort city bus system and airport shuttles, as well as the Bustang express service to Denver slated to begin July 13 – enforcement of 24-hour only parking will begin Monday, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
Those violating the 24-hour restriction will face parking citations with fines and possible towing, according to a CDOT media release. Harmony Transfer Center will undergo some reconfiguration to enable access for all services.

CDOT is designing a new “Kiss & Ride” area for airport shuttle services. “Kiss & Ride” means that passengers may be dropped off for the shuttle services, but may not park in the lot for more than 24 hours.
Several private shuttle services will be affected in the increasingly busy commuter hub.
Super Shuttle will be moving its overnight parking to a lot adjacent to the Harmony Transfer Center and will pick-up passengers in the new Kiss & Ride area.
Green Ride’s overnight parking and pick-up area will move six miles south to its new Green Ride Central Park-and-Ride hub at the Fort Collins-Loveland Airport, where more than 300 free spaces are available to customers. Green Ride will continue to pick up and drop off passengers at the Harmony Park-and-Ride.
CDOT is continuing to work with the city of Fort Collins to plan the future expansion of Harmony Transfer Center to better facilitate all transportation services.
