Collins hired to be general manager of TPC Colorado in Berthoud

BERTHOUD — Larry Collins, director of golf at The Golf Club at Omni Interlocken in Broomfield for the past 18 years, has been hired as general manager of TPC Colorado, a golf course under construction in Berthoud scheduled to open in 2018.

TPC Colorado will be part of the PGA Tour’s TPC Network, which provides host venues for tour events and high-quality services and amenities.

The 18-hole golf course will be situated alongside the Lonetree, McNiel and Welch reservoirs. It will be  equipped with the infrastructure to accommodate a professional tournament.

While at the Omni, Collins spearheaded the opening of its 27-hole Resort Golf Club through all phases of development, aiding in the transition from a resort/daily fee property to a semi-private club.

Collins has held jobs as the director of golf at the Boulder Country Club and IBIS Golf & Country Club, as well as head golf professional at TPC Southwind, TPC Sawgrass and the former TPC at Star Pass.
