Homebuilders flock to Sterling Ranch development in Douglas County

Several homebuilders appear poised to cash in on the Sterling Ranch residential development, a master-planned community slated to bring more than 12,000 new homes to northwest Douglas County.

The Denver Post reports that five builders, including Lennar Homes and Meritage Homes, combined last month to purchase 90 percent of the lots in the development’s first phase, with construction slated to start in the second quarter of newt year.
