Vestas holding job fairs for 350 positions in Windsor, Brighton

Danish wind-turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems A/S (OMX: VWS) plans to add 350 manufacturing jobs at its Windsor and Brighton factories, and workforce recruiter Manpower will run job fairs this month to fill the positions.

The job fairs will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at Vestas’ Brighton plant, 1500 E. Crown Prince Blvd., and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, at its Windsor plant, 11140 Eastman Park Drive.

According to a media release from Manpower, starting pay for the jobs will be $16.96 per hour plus shift differential, and benefits include health care, retirement plans with a company match, and paid time off. Immediate start dates are available for qualified candidates, who will work directly for Vestas.
