Adrian Pecinovsky was hired as a client services assistant for The Creative Alliance, a Lafayette-based public relations and marketing firm.

 

Boulder-based 42 Productions appointed Cathy Reinking of Eliot Street Casting in Denver as the casting director for its film “Woodshop,” written and directed by Colorado director Pete Coggan. The film begins principal photography at the end of January.

Bill Wegner was promoted to production manager, and Fred Bivrell was hired as an estimator at Parrish Construction Co. in Boulder.

 

BANKING, FINANCE

 

John Rogers was named senior vice president and retail manager for First Community Bank in Lafayette.

 

EDUCATION

 

Rick Morgan was hired as marketing director for the Colorado Academy of Art, an art school in Boulder.

 

HEALTH CARE

 

Dr. Jeanie Chung Leddon, from Boulder Valley Center for Dermatology, with offices in Boulder and Lafayette, is one of five U.S. dermatologists to be selected by “Glamour” magazine for its January “Ask an M.D. – Your Skin Questions” initiative where readers’ skin care questions are answered on the Glamour.com Web site.

 

Edwina Salazar, executive director of OUR Center in Longmont, and Clair Volk, owner of Volk & Associates Insurance Agency Inc. in Longmont, joined the board of directors of Longmont United Hospital.

 

Alex Augustine has been named leasing consultant at The Lodge at Balfour, a senior living community in Louisville. Augustine will act as the first link for prospective residents to the community. She previously served as director of two private counseling centers, one of them in Louisville, developing programs for seniors and families. Also, Kristine Wert was named resident adviser of The Lodge. Wert previously was the transportation coordinator and activities assistant for The Lodge.

 

Susan Young-Donahue was named director of the primary-care practices at Exempla Physician Network, a Denver-based service of Exempla Healthcare.

 

HIGH TECH

 

Mary Engola, manager of customer and industry relations for Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp., an aerospace company and a subsidiary of Ball Corp., was elected the 2008 chairwoman of the Coalition for Space Exploration. Engola will lead the coalition’s marketing, communications and public outreach efforts.

 

Dan Hudspeth was named chief financial officer for Rally Software Development Corp., a Boulder-based software company specializing in Agile software life cycle management.

 

LAW

 

Peter Meza was appointed to counsel for Hogan & Hartson LLP, a Colorado firm with Boulder offices. His practice focuses on intellectual property matters for U.S. and international semiconductor and high-tech electronics clients.

 

MANUFACTURING

 

Peter Case has been named senior vice president of Niwot-based Crocs Inc.’s new retail division. Case moves to the newly created position after serving as the shoemaker’s chief financial officer. In his place, Crocs has appointed Russ Hammer, former Motorola Inc. senior executive, to oversee all aspects of financial operations.

 

Bob Forshay was appointed vice president of Transformance Advisors Inc., a Boulder-based management consulting company specializing in lean supply chains.

 

Broomfield-based Ball Corp., a manufacturer of containers, promoted John A Hayes to executive vice president and chief operating officer. Hayes has served the company as senior vice president and president of Ball Packaging Europe.

 

NONPROFIT

 

The Denver-based Stop Incest Foundation has appointed William Myers as executive director. Myers has produced an award-winning documentary on the subject and has served as the director of mental health facilities and a sex offender program.

 

The board of directors of the Humane Society of Boulder Valley appointed three new members to its board of directors: Sally Bracken, philanthropist; Todd Vernon, chief executive of Lijit Networks Inc.; and Michele Wells, president of Wells Communications.

 

Lafayette-based HospiceCare of Boulder and Broomfield counties welcomed five new members to its Board of Directors. Elected for two year terms were Frank C. Chrisbens, Linda Henry, Rebecca Herman, Amanda Howe and Vikki Hughes.

 

OTHER

 

Mary Jo Nott was named executive editor of the Business Intelligence Network, an online business resource based in Boulder.
