Luxury-apartments plan nixed in Greeley

Plans for a luxury apartment complex near Aims Community College in Greeley have been nixed the city’s planning commission denied a rezoning for the property.

The Greeley Tribune reports that the Richardson family has decided to withdraw its application, which was to be reviewed by city council next week. The $20 million project at 5030 20th St., would have included more than 200 apartment units. A representative of the family, which is developing the property under the entity Richmark Development, told the paper that the family plans to come up with another plan for the site.
