Ogg named Greeley Stampede executive director
GREELEY – Wyoming native Bill Ogg has been named the new executive director of the Greeley Stampede.
Ogg, who has worked in the rodeo and entertainment business for more than 20 years, was most recently general manager of the Montana ExpoPark, which includes the Montana State Fair and Four Seasons Arena. He was formerly general manager of the Kansas and Wyoming state fairs.
“This is a proud day for the event and the community,´ said Jay Helzer, Greeley Stampede Committee vice chair. “Bill brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and class to the organization.”

Ogg was born and raised in Worland, Wyo., and grew up on a farming and ranching operation. He has a bachelor of science degree from the University of Wyoming in agricultural economics and a master’s degree in equine reproductive physiology from Louisiana State University.
Ogg will begin his duties as Stampede director on April 6.
