Former governor touts geothermal as green energy tool
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Colorado’s former governor touted use of geothermal energy at an event in Steamboat Springs.
The Steamboat Pilot reported that geothermal is seen as one tool that can help the state reach a cleaner energy future. Former Gov. Bill Ritter spent time at the Yampa Valley Geothermal Workshop explaining how the state could benefit.
