Timnath celebrating police HQ opening

TIMNATH — Town officials in Timnath will celebrate the grand opening of a new police station at 4 p.m. on Dec. 8 at 5601 E. Harmony Road.

The 22,000-square-foot cost $13.4 million to build and will house 15 badged police officers and two civilian employees.

“We feel extremely privileged and appreciative of the Timanth community. This could not have happened without their support,” Timnath Police chief Terry Jones said in a prepared statement. “This new building is a demonstration of our commitment back to the community and the police force.”
