Outpost Sunsport swap sale to benefit Respite Care

FORT COLLINS — A swap sale organized by Outpost Sunsport will enable participants to sell their “gently used” outdoor gear. The Outpost Sunsport Swap Sale will take place from Oct. 4-9 and will serve as a fundraiser for Respite Care.

“Each year the event has grown,” Outpost Sunsport owner Randy Morgan said in a written statement. “It’s just a nice community event where folks can bring in their used ski and snowboard equipment and apparel and have it sold to those looking specifically for those items.”

The Outpost Sunsport Swap Sale is executed in two stages. From Oct. 4-7,  patrons can bring in gently used items such as skis, snowboards, boots, poles and winter apparel to Outpost Sunsport at 931 E. Harmony Road. There is a $4 cost per item to participate in the Swap Sale. Items must be clean and in working order. All bindings must meet DIN standards. Items not accepted include straight skis, rear-entry boots, gloves, goggles or helmets.
