Windsor ecodevo department to offer SizeUp market research tool
WINDSOR — Businesses in Windsor will soon be able to uncover market research and business intelligence, thanks to a new software tool that the town’s economic development department is making available.
The town will employ SizeUp, a new software tool. Staff will launch the tool and train businesses at a breakfast event on Sept. 13.
“With the launch of SizeUp, the town is empowering our small businesses with global intelligence in Windsor. They will be able to make more data-driven decisions to better operate, succeed and grow,” Stacy Miller, director of economic development, said in a written statement.

According to information from the town, “SizeUp uses big data, cloud computing and computer algorithms to deliver custom analysis for businesses. The data comes from hundreds of public and proprietary data sources covering firmographic, demographic, geographic, labor, wage, cost, consumer spending, transportation, and more.”
The service will be free to Windsor businesses and available at windsoreconomicdevelopment.com.
The breakfast event will be 8 a.m. Sept. 13 at the Windsor Recreation Center, 250 N. 11th St. Registration is required at windsoreconomicdevelopment.com.
