Accounting firm Plante Moran moves Boulder office to Broomfield

BROOMFIELD — Plante Moran, an international accounting firm with local operations, has moved its Boulder offices to Broomfield.

The new 13,000-square-foot office is at 8001 Arista Place. About 50 employees work in the Broomfield office “serving clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, financial institutions, technology, health care, private equity, nonprofit, public sector, consumer goods and services, and real estate and construction,” a company spokesman told BizWest.

Plante Moran moved into the Broomfield office, which is roughly the same size as the Boulder office, on Aug. 1.

“While the square footage of our Broomfield office is comparable to the former Boulder location, the Broomfield office provides an open concept design that provides more usable space and room for future growth,” Plante Moran said through a spokesman.

“When searching for new space, we were looking for an office that would accommodate a streamlined design that encourages teamwork and productivity, was in a location that was easily accessible for both staff and clients, and provided room for future growth,” the company said. “Our new Broomfield office met all these criteria and is the perfect fit for us.”

Plante Moran’s spokesman did not say whether price was a factor in the decision to leave Boulder.

The local Plante Moran operation was formerly EKS&H LLP. The companies merged in 2018, forming what was then the 11th largest accounting, tax, consulting and wealth management firm in the nation with 2,300 employees in offices in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Japan, India and Mexico.
