NoCo Community Foundation launches new grant cycle

FORT COLLINS – Nonprofit organizations serving Fort Collins, Loveland, Berthoud and the Estes Valley are being invited to apply for grants from the Community Foundation of Northern Colorado when it launches its new grant cycle on Wednesday.

Grant applications will be reviewed by grantmaking committees based in each community. Eligibility requirements and detailed application information can be found on the foundation’s website. Applications will be accepted online until Aug. 31.

The foundation’s community fund committees support collaborative projects and strategic, high-impact work through the grants. During the foundation’s last fiscal year, 44 different causes received competitive grant funding totaling more than $382,000.

The new grant cycle has been streamlined to simplify the application process for nonprofit partners and increase efficiency for applicants and grantmaking committees. Only 501(c)(3) nonprofits, educational institutions, churches and municipalities may apply.

For more information, contact Claire Bouchard, director of community engagement and communications, at 970-488-1976 or Grants@NoCoFoundation.org.

The Community Foundation manages more than 500 funds and approximately $170 million in assets. More than 75 nonprofit organizations hold endowment or reserve funds with the foundation, which manages hundreds of donor advised funds for individuals and businesses.
