Pathways Hospice open house is Saturday
FORT COLLINS — Pathways Hospice, a provider of hospice, palliative care, grief and loss counseling services in Northern Colorado, will host a public open house and offer tours of its new inpatient care center from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday.
According to a press statement from Pathways, the new care center will provide “high quality, compassionate hospice care in a homelike setting to patients needing hospital-level treatment. It provides easy access to the outdoors — including its labyrinth — and features clerestory windows situated just under the ceiling that provide a view of the sky, even for patients in a supine position.”
Pathways raised $8 million to build the new facility. Demand for hospice care continues to grow; the population of those 65 and older in Larimer County alone will grow by 140% in the next 20 years. The facility is the only standalone one in Northern Colorado.
