NAACP Boulder County plans ‘Business in Black and White’ event

BOULDER — NAACP Boulder County will hold an in-person gathering for Black-owned businesses, Black professionals and corporate members of the organization, along with other Boulder County businesses, professionals and entrepreneurs.

“Business in Black and White — a Black Talk: Race in the Workplace Series” event will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Thursday, June 16, at the Roots Music Project, 4747 Pearl St., Suite V3A, in Boulder. It will include music by Jack Hadley, light refreshments and a cash bar.

The NAACP’s Economic Opportunity Committee has organized the event to introduce NAACP Boulder County corporate members and Black-owned businesses and professionals to each other and to the community.  Attendees will have an opportunity to share experiences, challenges, and opportunities related to doing business and living in Boulder County. 

Registration is required.Corporate members of the NAACP Boulder County have access to NAACP Economic Opportunity Committee’s Ambassador Program, designed to assist corporate and nonprofit entities with diversity, equity, inclusion and action goals.
