Trio of Evergreen Devco buildings sprouting at Nine Mile Corner

ERIE —  Developer Evergreen Devco Inc. has begun construction on three new buildings at Erie’s Nine Mile Corner, a large mixed-use project at U.S. Highway 287 and Arapahoe Road.

The developer is building an 8,000-square-foot UCHealth medical facility and a pair of multi-tenant retail spaces that will total 18,000 square feet.

The overall Nine Mile Corner project will be anchored by a 114,000-square-foot Lowe’s Home Improvement store and a 103,000-square-foot King Soopers grocery store

Exploring & expressing grief

Support groups and events, as well as creative therapies and professional counseling, are all ways in which Pathways supports individuals dealing with grief and loss.

“The commencement of construction of these buildings at Nine Mile Corner is another significant milestone for Evergreen and its partnership with the Town of Erie,” Evergreen managing principal Tyler Carlson said in a prepared statement. “The diverse shopping and dining opportunities from Lowes, King Soopers and our other tenants will provide hundreds of jobs and boost new life to the area, which is especially needed during these difficult economic times due to the pandemic.”

The three buildings under construction now are expected to be complete by the third quarter of this year.
