JBS USA will get a new U.S. CEO

GREELEY — JBS SA named new division heads this week, all by promotions. The Brazil-based global meat processor owns JBS USA, based in Greeley.

A press release said the new leadership is effective January.

Tim Schellpeper, now CEO of the Greeley unit’s “fed beef” division, will be CEO of JBS USA, replacing and reporting to André Nogueira. Nogueira has been promoted to global co-president for JBS SA’s North American operations.

Solar Operations and Maintenance for Commercial Properties

One key qualification to consider when selecting a solar partner to install your system is whether they have an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) or service department. Since solar is a long-term asset with an expected lifecycle of 30 plus years, ongoing O&M should be considered up front. A trusted O&M partner will maximize your system’s energy output and therefor the return on your investment.

Schellpeper joined JBS in 2017. He was previously CEO of Maschhoff Family Foods in Illinois. He also worked 25 years for Farmland Foods Inc. in Missouri and Smithfield Foods Inc. in Virginia, rising to the position of CEO and COO of the merged company, Smithfield-Farmland. Smithfield is owned by China-based WH Group.

Steve Cohron, currently head of pricing and sales at the fed beef division, will take Schellpeper’s former slot and report to him, overseeing the entire unit. Cohron has more than 22 years of experience in the U.S. beef industry and joined JBS in 2005, the release said.
