Blockchain startup buys hosting ops

FORT COLLINS — Zaimirai LLC has bought the Dash Masternode hosting unit of Node40.

A press release said the purchase expands Zaimirai offerings while letting Node40 focus on one main area of its prior work. Both companies are involved in blockchain and cryptocurrency activities.

Zaimirai is a startup offering technology, digital services and infrastructure to blockchain companies. A node has to do with the hosting needed by blockchain-focused firms and verifying their transactions on networks. Dash — a portmanteau of “digital cash” — is a cryptocurrency network.
