Downtown Louisville yoga studio seeks city business assistance package

LOUISVILLE — Yoga Junction LLC, a downtown Louisville wellness studio, was recently unable to renew its lease at 927 Main Street and has asked the city for a tax and fee rebate to help move to a new location nearby on Spruce Street.

The new space would allow the business to expand from 1,120 square feet to 1,497 square feet, according to a city memo.

A relocation would happen within the next several months.

Empowering communities

Rocky Mountain Health Plans (RMHP), part of the UnitedHealthcare family, has pledged its commitment to uplift these communities through substantial investments in organizations addressing the distinct needs of our communities.

Unlike many businesses that apply for thousands of dollars in business assistance packages from Louisville, Yoga Junction is seeking only $955 over a five-year period.

The Louisville City Council will review the company’s request during its meeting Tuesday.
