LOVELAND — UCHealth has reopened a drive-through specimen-collection center outside of UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies for individuals to be tested for COVID-19.
Great Western Bank has a history of helping outstanding companies achieve amazing things. We do that by combining the financial resources of a large organization, a hometown perspective, and great rates—currently as low as 2.70%!
The health-care system reported that the collection center will be open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 8 a.m. until noon on Saturdays and Sundays on the east side of MCR, 2500 Rocky Mountain Ave. The center replaces the collection center that had operated at The Ranch Events Complex until April 27.
Individuals seeking testing should enter the MCR campus via the Spirit Lake Court entrance, which is the north entrance, then follow the signs around the hospital to the collection center registration area. Once the specimen has been collected, individuals will follow signs on the southeast side of the campus to exit back on to Rocky Mountain Avenue.
The collection center offers both the nasal swab test, which detects the presence of the COVID-19 virus in the nasal passages, and the blood test, which measures for the presence of antibodies. Testing is available for patients with or without symptoms.
To schedule an appointment, individuals can go to uchealth.org and click on the “COVID-19 Testing” menu option on the home page. Those who have doctor’s orders in their electronic health record or a paper order in hand can use the services without an appointment, UCHealth said in announcing the test site.
