Unsupervised raises $35M in Series B

BOULDER — Artificial-intelligence developer Unsupervised.com Inc. said that it has raised $35 million in its Series B funding round.

In a statement, the Boulder-based Unsupervised said it will use the new funding to hire staff across all departments and add new product segments for its existing customer base.

Unsupervised is developing AI products that search through databases maintained by businesses to identify trends without requiring a data scientist to write code aiming to seek out a specific pattern.

It raised $5.7 million last August to manage new customer demand in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the radical shifts in trends that it wrought on how the world lives and conducts business.

“Having gone through a series of ‘black swan’ events recently, organizations realize the need to uncover and act on insights faster,” CEO Noah Horton said in a statement.

The company has 75 employees.
