While there are signs of life in the Boulder Valley and Northern Colorado hospitality sector, the industry continues to lag behind pre-pandemic occupancy rates, according to the Rocky Mountain Lodging Report released Thursday by the Colorado Hotel and Lodging Association.

Greeley hotels were the fullest in February with an occupancy rate of 53.7% and a daily rate of $79.48.

Loveland trailed slightly with a 41.2% occupancy rate, but rooms were slightly more expensive at $89.01.

Fort Collins lodges were 40.7% full last month, when rooms averaged $89.07 per night.

Boulder posted a 38.4% occupancy rate and an average room price of $99.98 in February.

Estes Park had the most expensive hotels with an average room rate of $152.93. However, those rooms were only 32.9% booked.

For the most part, Boulder Valley and Northern Colorado hotels lagged behind the state average of 43.3% occupied and a $144.42 average nightly rate.
