DENVER — Coloradans seeking Phase 2 unemployment benefits might have to wait weeks to see benefits drop into their bank accounts.
The Colorado Sun reports that benefits provided in the Continued Assistance Act, passed by Congress Dec. 27, have been delayed as the state works to reprogram its unemployment system, a process that already has taken more than five weeks.
The EPEWA Act went into effect on January 1, 2021. Employers had to make robust changes to address and implement external employment opportunities and internal employee advancement opportunities. Is your business compliant?
